Vashon Fix-it is a partnership between the Vashon Tool Library, King County, and Zero Waste Vashon that brings together community fixers with community members needing something to be repaired. We are part of the Washington State Repair Economy. This work is done at no charge, twice a year. These Fix-It Cafés are a great success with a strong fix rate that returns dozens of repaired items back into service. They divert hundreds of pounds of materials from the landfill annually.
