Upcoming UN Plastic Treaty

The final round of negotiations for the UN Global Plastics Treaty will take place in South Korea November 25–December 1, 2024. In a recent shift, the US is supporting the global target to reduce plastic production. Let’s hope the new administration continues this policy.

Proposed Priorities for next US Administration

Beyond Plastics recommends that the next U.S. president reduce the production of plastics by 50% over the next 10 years through a series of 27 actions involving legislation and executive agencies.
