Reusable Cup Project
We are excited to provide nonprofits and Vashon-Maury Chamber of Commerce members an alternative to disposable cups for events. The Reusable Cup Project is a stash of 14oz and 8oz stainless steel cups. These cups are owned by the Vashon-Maury Chamber of Commerce and stored at The Vashon Chamber of Commerce.
The cups are lent out on a first reserved, first served basis. However, since there are 2000 14oz cups and 1000 8oz cups we don’t anticipate running short should there be multiple events on the same date. We prefer for people to pick up the cups on the Thursday before a weekend event and return all items (clean and DRY) on the following Tuesday. Other arrangements can be made if needed.
Items need to be returned clean and dry (very important) and crated exactly as picked up so they are ready for the next person to borrow. Both size cups are crated 150 cups per crate (10 stacks of 15). The larger cups are in blue crates and the smaller cups are in red crates.
We ask that you check out entire crates even if it results in checking out more cups than you need. This ensures easy tracking since each crate is numbered. The crates are numbered 1-21. The 14 oz cups are in the blue crates number 1-14. Number 14 is a partial. The 8 oz cups are in red bins and numbered 15-21. Number 21 is a partial.
Please reserve by emailing me and ccing Nadine Edelstein.
Thanks for reducing waste!
